Dr. Allamraju Subramanya Ramasastri - Independent Director

Dr. Ramasastri is widely known for his commendable domain knowledge in Banking technologies such as cybersecurity, analytics, Cloud computing, and payment systems, in addition to his other areas of expertise. He was the Director of the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (‘IDRBT’) from 2014-2020. Prior to joining the IDRBT, he was the Chief General Manager-in- charge of the Department of Information Technology at RBI. In the RBI, he had spearheaded many important projects, including the implementation of the Next Generation RTGS, adoption of XBRL and ISO 20022, and preparation of the IT Vision of RBI from 2011-17.

He has authored two books titled ‘Quantitative Methods for Valuation of Assets’ and ‘Quantitative Methods for Banking and Finance’. He had also guided the Bank of Mauritius, Bank of Malaysia and Bank of Uganda on the implementation of Data Warehouse, XBRL, etc., and delivered talks on standards and technology for data reporting at the International Monetary Fund and Bank of International Settlements.

Dr. Ramasastri holds a PhD in Finance from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and has held top ranks in M.Sc. (Statistics) from Madras University and B.Sc. (Statistics) from Loyola College, Madras. He also attended Advanced Management Programmes at the University of Oxford and Kellogg School of Management.

Shir P Mohanaiah - Independent Director

Mr. Mohanaiah is a Postgraduate in Economics from Osmania University. Mr. Mohanaiah brings rich and a varied experience in Banking and Rural Development. He started his career as a Branch Manager in Nagarjuna Grameena Bank (NGB) in the Khammam District of Andhra Pradesh. Over 35 years, he has served in NGB, Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and NABARD in various capacities. He has worked in various locations including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, North Eastern States and West Bengal.

Sri Jayesh Ranjan, IAS - Special Chief Secretary

Mr. Jayesh Ranjan is a member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of the 1992 batch and working in the state of Telangana. He holds a Masters Degree in Psychology from Delhi University, a degree in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Masters in Public Management from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. He has also done short courses in the University of Birmingham (on Environmental Policy Analysis), JICA training Institute, Tokyo (on lake remediation), London School of Economics (on Globalization and Leadership), Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University (in Public Policy), and Swedish Institute, Stockholm (on Sustainability and CSR). He is the All-India topper of his IAS batch of 1992.

He was awarded World Bank’s Social Capital Visiting Scholarship in 2002 and the British Government’s Gurukul Chevening Scholarship in 2005. He has done international consultancy assignments for the World Bank, UN-ESCAP, Sedatu project of Mexico, and for international NGOs working for Youth Issues like YES, Inc of the USA and NMC from Italy. He is a part of the National Pool of Trainers in Leadership constituted by the Government of India, and is involved in training and mentoring newly recruited Civil Servants. Among his other distinctions, he was awarded the Royal Order of the Polar Star by His Majesty The King of Sweden in 2019 for promoting Swedish business interests in India including the opening of IKEA’s first Indian store in Hyderabad. He has also been awarded Honorary Doctorate from University of Bolton (UK) in 2022 for promoting bilateral trade and investments between UK and Telangana.

Jayesh Ranjan is the Special Chief Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Departments of the Telangana government. His assignment involves developing policy frameworks, attracting new investments, identifying opportunities for utilizing IT in various government processes, and promoting the digital empowerment of the citizens. His last few assignments have been in the Industrial Promotion sector as Commissioner and MD of the Industries Department, Secretary in the Tourism Promotion Department, and Vice-Chairman of the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA), all for 2-3 years each, and various rural assignments in different parts of the state for over 12 years, working in diverse sectors like Tribal Development, Natural Resources Management, Poverty Alleviation and other related Social Development Sectors.

Dr G.Malsur, is holding Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management and joined as Group – I Officer in the year 1990 in the United Andhra Pradesh.

• Having experience of working in Cooperative department and all Welfare departments like Social Welfare department, BC Welfare department and Tribal Welfare department.
• Gained enormous experience working with both Rural and Urban local bodies as CEO, Zilla parishad and Municipal Administration and Urban development departments and also in MCH.
• Worked in Irrigation department in various capacities looking after World Bank and JICA Funded Project apart from discharging duties as Commissioner, Command Area Development Authority (CADA) and also worked in Mining Department as Vice Chairman & Managing Director, TS Mineral Development Corporation Ltd. (TSMDC)
• Presently, working as Director of Industries, Commerce and Export Promotion, Government of Telangana and as Director for Sugar & Cane Commissioner.

Sri Ravi Kumar Rachakonda is a postgraduate by qualification and a well-known Industrialist based in Hyderabad. He holds directorships in various companies and serves as the Executive Director at M/s.Zetatek Technologies Pvt Ltd (a merged and single unified entity of Motion Dynamic Private Limited and Zetatek Industries Private Limited). He was also associated with Glaxo India Ltd. for nine years before embarking on his industrial career.
